Tripbtoz is a “video-based OTA community service” where members can relive their past travels and share vivid travel experiences with others who may need inspiration for their next trip. Therefore, the videos uploaded to Tripbtoz should reflect and share your travel experiences. Therefore, videos uploaded to Tripbtoz must be
related to sharing travel experiences. If the uploaded video does not meet the following guidelines, it may be excluded from ranking calculations.a. The videos must be related to travel experiences, such as accommodations, restaurants, airlines, transportation information, locations, travel destinations, or general travel experiences, and should be based on accurate information.
b. Videos with themes that are too distant from travel experiences may be removed without notice.
c. Only content that you have personally filmed or produced can be uploaded.
Additionally, to ensure the sharing of authentic travel experiences, we recommend adhering to the following content upload standards:
a. It is recommended to upload videos in vertical format whenever possible.
b. If you have multiple videos shot at the same location, it is recommended to edit them into a single video before uploading.
These guidelines take effect for any content uploaded after the date of the upload guidelines announcement.
Examples of Videos Subject to Deletion
Please refer to the following examples when uploading videos, as they are provided as examples of videos that may be deleted. Even if a video is not included in the following categories, it may be deleted without prior notice if the Tripbtoz team deems it to be of low quality.1. Duplicate Videos
Duplicate videos refer to those that contain identical content or information as another video.
a. Videos where the length has been extended or shortened from the original are also considered duplicates.
b. Videos that have been zoomed in or out and then uploaded are considered duplicates.
c. Videos with different hashtags but identical content are also considered duplicates.
d. If a user uploads duplicate videos, only the first uploaded video will be retained, and the others will be deleted.
e. If multiple users upload the same video, all but the first uploaded video will be deleted.
2. Consecutive Videos
Consecutive videos are defined as follows, and all but the first uploaded video will be deleted:
a. Videos shot by the same user at the same location with similar angles, scenery, or subjects repeatedly.
⎼ Example 1: Videos that split footage from a single location (e.g., exterior → interior → subject or different subjects).
b. Videos of different dishes from the same restaurant or videos showing the cooking process of a dish in stages.
⎼ Example 1: Videos showing before grilling meat → grilling process → eating the grilled meat.
⎼ Example 2: Videos showing the cooking process of a dish followed by a subsequent dish (e.g., cooking fried rice after grilling meat).
⎼ Example 3: Videos showing the main dish along with side dishes and additional ingredients (including cases where various foods are captured at a buffet).
⎼ Example 4: Videos filmed during a meal or that appear to be filmed after eating.
c. Videos that capture continuous actions of the shooter or the subject in the video.
⎼ Example 1: Videos showing continuous actions of the shooter or subject.
⎼ Example 2: Videos that appear to be shot while driving.
⎼ Example 3: Videos shot in transit and uploaded in parts (including land, underground, vehicles, and flights).
⎼ Example 4: Videos that split the same performance/event into multiple uploads.
3. Videos with Unclear Location Tags
When uploading a video on Tripvitoz, location tags must be included.
a. Locations can be tagged based on country, province/state, city/county, or hotel standards on Tripvitoz.
b. If a specific accommodation does not appear in the search, tag the location by city, province/state, or country.
Videos with content that doesn't match the location tag may be deleted without notice.
a. For videos shot during a flight, please upload them based on the arrival location.
b. Videos shot in private spaces (e.g., private property, residences, areas where filming is not allowed) or locations inaccessible to the public for travel may be deleted. Private spaces refer to locations that travelers generally cannot visit for tourism purposes.
c. If the video shows cooking or delivery food in a private space, and it cannot be proven that the space is a travel destination or accommodation, the video may be deleted.
d. For videos tagged with a hotel, if the content does not feature the hotel's exterior, interior, or facilities, it may be deleted.
⎼ Example: Videos showing travel destinations or restaurants outside the hotel but tagged as the hotel.
⎼ Exception: In the case of resorts, videos shot within the resort's area are considered facilities of the accommodation (e.g., ski resorts, gardens, private beaches).
4. Copyright-Related Criteria
Videos edited using copyrighted music or content that infringes on the copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights of third parties may be deleted without notice.
5. Animal Videos
a. Videos featuring animals that are not representative of a travel destination.
b. Videos filmed for the purpose of walking pets.
6. Other Videos
a. Advertisements.
b. Unclear videos or videos with only unclear hashtags.
c. Videos unrelated to travel or travel experiences.
⎼ Example 1: Videos uploaded without showing a subject that represents the regional characteristics.
d. Videos featuring common alcoholic beverages that do not represent the region.
e. Videos that do not match the theme of a challenge.
f. Videos created by editing photos into a slideshow format.
g. Low-quality or low-resolution videos that cannot provide accurate travel information to users.
Exceptions
a. Videos re-edited or reprocessed to include portions of videos taken during the travel period for the purpose of reminiscing about the trip.
b. Videos newly filmed on a revisit to the same location that are different from previously uploaded content.
Notice
The provided examples explain cases where videos may be subject to deletion, but please be aware that they do not cover every possible scenario. Final decisions are made by the Tripbtoz team, and exceptions may not be granted depending on the situation. Additional inquiries regarding these guidelines may not be accepted, and this guide is designed to prevent VOC (Voice of the Customer) issues, allowing for flexible application.
